Cafe Fleuri

Visited on a Tuesday for lunch and the staff seemed unable to keep up with the volume of customers so many tables sat uncleared. We and most others had to clear a table to sit down. Choose a spot, make note of your table number, order from the counter and food is brought to you but we had to wait quite a while. Coffee and carrot cake was good; sandwiches were a bit dry. Brunch seemed the most popular option-finished at 2pm.

Stopped in Odense on the way to Billund — a quick break in this scenic town halfway through. Fresh hot coffee, sourdough baked bread, and sunny side up eggs. I kept eyeing the brownie but didn’t order it. We also had chia pudding — so colorful and tasty. We split French toast with a sunny side egg. It came with ham ( don’t eat meat) which we just set aside. Must try!
