This place is special. They operate a cafe during the day and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings there is Eritrean food on the menu. The chef used to run Nati in Vestbyen but he moved over to this side of Vesterbro after that closed. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is unique and hyggelig. Try the shiro and ask for doro wat (chicken dish with white cheese and a boiled egg but not on the menu). Really nice dining experience.
One of the best restaurants in Aalborg. If you like ethiopian or eritrean food (if you haven't tried you're missing out) this is heaven in Aalborg. I was so devastated when the previous places e.g. Nati closed. But they're back now and in one of the nicest/chillest locations Aalborg has to offer. Great choice if you're a vegetarian you have to try the the yellow and the red lentils, shiro (chickpea stew).
Not a good experience. I stopped by to ask if they unscrew ONE bolt on a broken kickstand -a 2-minute job. The man asked for 70 kr without mentioning any fee upfront. I’ve been to other bike shops before for similar small things like adjusting a seat ( also unscrew one bolt) , and I’ve never been charged, especially when it’s such a simple task and I just didn’t have the tool with me. The bad communication and attitude were very disappointing. I will never step a foot in the shop or cafe again!
